Torquay also has The Little Theatre which is home to the TOADS Company.

This is an amateur theatre company although their productions are of professional quality. Sometimes they play host to small touring companies whose productions require a more intimate setting than The Princess Theatre.

Babbacombe Theatre is home to variety shows (as well as some one night specials) and has a long history and has been the starting point for careers such as those of Jimmy Tarbuck and Bruce Forsyth.
