It’s been a wonderful week with some stunning weather. Spring’s been a long time in coming but it is terrific now it’s arrived. May is pretty busy at The Somerville but we do still have some spaces; perfect for a late spring break.
Priscilla Queen of The Desert has been on at The Princess Theatre in Torquay this week. We saw it on Tuesday and it was incredible. Fantastic performances, brilliant music and a heart warming story plus a neat trick with ping pong balls!!! I’ve never seen an audience reaction like it at the end….. a wild, joyful standing ovation. The cast deserved every second of it. They worked their socks off. Sadly, there’s only two days left before Priscilla rumbles off to her next destination. If she comes anywhere near you I would strongly recommend seeing the show…. it really will lift your spirits…
